Attack Angle

Get details on the Attack Angle metric. Find out what it means and how it's measured so you know how to practice and improve.

Swing Plane with PVC

Learn how to use a PVC pipe to help train the body to create a good swing plane.

Med Ball

Learn how to use the med ball to train your core strength to help gain more rotational acceleration.

Med Ball - Advanced

Learn how to use the med ball to train your core strength to help gain more rotational acceleration.

Ball Constraint

The ball constraint drill helps with On-Plane Efficiency. This drill constrains the forearm and wrist movements so that all those movements stay in the swing plane. Hitters will see their On-Plane Efficiency increase when doing this drill correctly.

Bat Speed vs. Rotational Acceleration

See how Bat Speed and Rotational Acceleration are different and how they can be compared side-by-side to understand a hitters swing. Hitters can have similar bat speeds but how quick they build up bat speed is very different. For example, 2 cars can both be going 65 MPH on the freeway, but how fast did they accelerate to that speed? How fast they accelerate is Rotational Acceleration.

Connection at Impact vs. Early Connection

See what Connection at Impact and Early Connection are and how they are measured. Connection at Impact measures the relationship between body tilt and vertical bat angle at impact. Early Connection measures the relationship between body tilt and vertical bat angle just after the start of the swing.

On-Plane Efficiency and Attack Angle Relationship

How to use On-Plane Efficiency and Attack Angle together to dial in your swing and see what the differences are. Hitters want to match the angle of the incoming pitch with their barrel (Attack Angle) and have a good swing plane so that they are efficiently moving towards contact. (On-Plane Efficiency)

PVC Pipe

See Carlos Correa demonstrate the PVC drill. This drill will help you keep your bat path more consistently on plane.

Trigger, Trigger, Fire

See Carlos Correa demonstrate the Trigger, Trigger, Fire drill. This drill will help you maintain good connection between your body tilt and bat angle, helping you adjust for all pitch locations.

Step Behind

See Carlos Correa demonstrate the Step Behind drill. This drill will help you increase your rotational acceleration to generate more power, giving you more time to adjust for all pitch locations.

Impact Bag

See Carlos Correa demonstrate the Impact Bag drill. Practice this drill to help Increase your rotational acceleration.

Positive Attack Angle

Learn how to use external queues to create a positive Attack Angle.

Connection

This drill will help you learn how to use vertical bat angle to stay connected.

Heavy Bat, Lite Bat

This drill will help you understand how to use overload / underload or heavy bat / lite bat training, to help a hitter train their body to sequence properly and create the best swing.

Movement Prep

This drill will help you gain strength and flexibility in your core.
